Zendaya and Met Gala: The Actress Showed off Two Impressive Outfits
Zendaya had allocated two impressive outfits for the fashion ball of the year, the Met Gala 2024.
The 27-year-old actress, who was co-hosting the event, dazzled in a black 1996 Givenchy John Galliano dress matching with a 2007 Alexander McQueen hat. The dress featured a plunging neckline and cinched waist, the star opting for a softer make-up palette to accentuate her floral headpiece.

Earlier in the evening, Zendaya wowed everyone in a blue-greenish John Galliano gown featuring branch and fruit accents. She had a fake bird over one shoulder and a large feather in her hat. The actress completed her look with a Bulgari necklace and an impressive hat, and the make-up was especially dramatic.
But her first choice truly reflected the blend of 19th-century romance and modernity that Galliano created like perhaps no other designer, with elements that evoked the Garden of Time theme of the gala in a subtle way. The dress was made of organza and lamé, with hand-painted metallic details, drapery and ribbon, finished with a beautiful, hand-embroidered bodice.
This year's Met Gala dress code, "The Garden of Time", took cues from the 1962 short story of the same name by J. Ballard, which fitted perfectly well with the Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion exhibit, which was open to the public on Friday, May 10.
