Do not Fall in the Trap! Tricky Questions at a Job Interview
Times have changed, and so have our careers and the way we find work. The specialization of HR managers in companies is so great that in many cases they look for surprising ways to evaluate their candidates.
One of the changes in job interviews is trick questions. They, in addition to the answer given, reveal important elements such as responsiveness, reaction to something unknown or the way things are approached.

If you were an animal, which would you choose to be? Although it adds little information to the interview, this question can help put the candidate at ease and the interviewer to learn more about them.
What quality of yours would completely surprise me? This question is designed to measure spontaneity, sincerity, and the ability to get out of compromising situations.
If your life were a book, what would the title be? This far-fetched question requires creativity and the ability to synthesize.
Which historical figure would you like to interview? Usually, the historical person chosen by the candidate is someone he or she admires, so several candidates may be eliminated.
What three items would you take with you to a desert island? Are you a hunter or a gatherer? What toys did you play with as a child? When profiling a candidate, reference to past memories can provide more reliable and honest information than current information.
Did I miss any questions during the interview? This question shows whether the candidate is honest with their superior.
If you could choose, what would your dream job be? Here, the correctness of the candidate is required, as well as their commitment to the company.
How would you rate me as an interviewer on a scale of 1 to 10? An extremely stressful situation that demonstrates the candidates’ sincerity and response to the possibility of a higher grade.
