"Congratulations, CyLiis, for the achievement of becoming world champions, together with Ro2D2, a Romanian team that we greatly admire for its consistent results. This year at MTI, they secured first place. We shared the excitement with every Romanian team that made it to the finals at MTI and celebrated each match victory with great joy. The CyLiis robotics team has continuously developed, integrating learning experiences from each competition and feedback from specialists dedicated to advancing robotics in schools. The teams from 'Grigore Moisil' Theoretical High School of Informatics in Iași, CyLiis, and Peppers, participating in the world competition MTI, are mentored by Professor Mirela Țibu and LIIS alumni, among whom Cătălin Puricoi accompanied the students to the Maryland Tech Invitational 2024", stated Adina Romanescu.
She further mentioned to Agerpres that the world champion title won by the CyLiis team at MTI honors and motivates both teachers and students from Iași to get even more involved in the development of robotics in schools.
"It is time to adapt to the economic reality around us and effectively prepare students for the job market. We shared the excitement with every Romanian team that made it to the finals at MTI and celebrated each match victory with great joy", mentioned Adina Romanescu.
