Electronic cigarettes are on the verge of being banned in the United Kingdom. The London government wants to impose this measure to combat the increasing number of young people starting to smoke.
It will also become illegal for anyone born after January 1, 2009, to buy tobacco.

Almost 9% of English students aged 11 to 15 currently use electronic cigarettes with various flavors. Their number has doubled in the last three years.
The phenomenon is also a concern for teachers. Educators have noticed that schoolchildren using disposable vaping devices have difficulty concentrating in class.
If approved by Parliament, the ban is expected to come into effect no later than next year.
