After a busy year and a tough week, with written exams scheduled in quick succession, baccalaureate candidates can finally breathe a sigh of relief! Many will wait for their results by the seaside, in the mountains or at festivals.

"We already miss our classmates, but not the studying!", some told us, aware that their break only lasts until college admissions.

Some dance with joy that it's over, while others seem exhausted... including with their mother tongue exam, 15,000 baccalaureate candidates took 4 written exams. Their classmates have been free since yesterday.

Candidate: "It was really easy, the authors were topics for the exam, but now... I have made some grammatical mistakes because it's another language, but it's okay".

Candidate: "The train is waiting for me to go to the seaside. In the end, whatever will be, will be. At least it's over".

Let's take stock of this exam session, as 125,000 candidates are left only with the anxiety of waiting for their results on July 8th.

Among their peers, 3,000 registered but did not attend the exams. And around 100 found, in front of their cheat sheets, that everything they knew was on the cheat sheets. They tried their luck but were caught cheating and got kicked out of the exam room and the exam itself. They are banned from trying again in the autumn session.

It's true, some graduates regret not having other priorities.

Among the optimists is a young woman who completed 12 years of school in Italy and two in Romania.

Candidate: "I like it more here, honestly. I felt the high school experience, I felt the friendship. I didn't have that there".

Candidate: "There was too much stress, too much school. Here, it's different; you get to combine work with enjoyment".

One thing is certain, young people will keep these days in their memories for ever.

And for those who didn't try hard enough... remember that any great success is sprinkled with failures.
