The pass rate for the 2024 Baccalaureate exam is 76.4%

The Minister of Education, Ligia Deca, is holding a press conference at 11:30 AM to announce the Baccalaureate exam results and provide conclusions after this year's "maturity exam" session. 

According to information provided by educational authorities, the 2024 Baccalaureate results will be posted by 12:00 PM.

However, it should be noted that in previous years, the grades were posted either earlier or later. In 2023, the results were expected at 10:00 AM due to messages circulating in student groups. However, after a period during which the edu.ro site was very slow, it turned out that the information was false. 

Candidates can access their grades through several channels:

1. Official platform bacalaureat.edu.ro: This site is the primary and most certain source for obtaining results. Students will need to enter their personal information to view their grades.

2. Lists posted at exam centers: For those who prefer the traditional method, results will also be available in physical format at the high schools where the exams were held.

3. County boards’ of education websites: Many county boards of education will publish the results on their own web pages, providing an alternative in case the national platform becomes too busy.

Candidates are advised to be prepared for possible delays or technical difficulties due to the large number of simultaneous accesses expected when the results are posted.

To pass the Baccalaureate exam, candidates must meet three essential conditions: they must have equated or recognized all linguistic and digital competence assessment tests, obtain a minimum grade of 5 in each written exam, and have an overall average of at least 6 in the written exams.

For students who are not satisfied with their grades, there is the option to file appeals. These can be submitted today, July 8, between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Appeals can be filed either at the exam center or electronically at the email address contestatiibacspecial2024@gmail.com. For online appeals, candidates must attach a copy of their identity card and provide a phone number for confirmation.

It is important to note that the process of reevaluating contested papers is rigorous. Each paper will be re-evaluated by a new examination committee composed of specialized teachers who were not involved in the initial evaluation.

The resolution of appeals will take place from July 9 to 11, and the final results will be posted on July 12, 2024. This final stage will bring clarity and determine the definitive status for all candidates.
