The new school year has started, with it comes many questions for Gen Z representatives who are in their final high school years, namely, which university to choose. Along with choosing a university, it is good for students to get to know the best cities to live in for students.

So, in the next lines, we will have a look at the top ten according to the latest rankings taking into account both the social life and the professional opportunities that each of these names provides.

Unsurprisingly, London tops the list of the best cities to live in for students in 2023. This is mainly due to its high score in the Student Voice and World University Rankings.

Melbourne comes second mainly because it is also rated as the most affordable city to live in among the other names on the list. Tokyo also gets a high score, and this is quite natural given the level of education that universities in the Japanese capital offer.

Other names we find in the Quacquarelli Symonds list are Seoul, Munich, Paris, Sydney, Berlin, Zurich and Boston. Each of these cities is known for its attitude towards students who choose them for their good educational institutions, night clubs and the class that the training in each of their universities brings. Of course, the main thing is that students should like the major they have chosen, however, it is not an insignificant factor where they will spend some of the most important four or five years of their life.

If you are going to face this choice or you are the parent of a Gen Z child, we hope that this article has been useful and will serve as a guide to choosing a college town.
