Approximately 150,000 graduates breathed a sigh of relief on June 27 at the end of the Mathematics exam of the National Evaluation.

"It was quite hard, but at least it's over!", students told us, even though their anxieties aren't over yet. The results will be published on July 3, and after the appeals, the high school admission process will follow, based on the candidates' preferences.

Reporter: How satisfied are you?

Students: "Not at all, not at all, not at all!".

Student: "I found it very easy. It went well".

Student: "Medium to high difficulty".

Exhausted after two hours of grappling with isosceles triangles, circles and parallelograms, the kids barely manage to smile but are finally free to start their vacation.

Indeed, before they receive their high school status, they have to wait for the results. The exam questions were accessible only to those who studied consistently.

Student: "90% of the questions seemed easy, 10% difficult".

Student: "Whatever I did, I can't change anything now".

Student: "I went to tutoring almost daily, besides doing competitive sports".

Just after finishing the Mathematics exam, they continue to calculate with their class teachers, classmates and tutors. The students estimate their scores and the grade they will find out on July 3. Then, parents will know if the investment in private tutoring was worth it. Recently, some had two sessions per week for each exam subject. That means about 3,000 lei per month from the family budget, just for tutoring. Since the beginning of the school year, it could total up to 25,000 lei. Enough to buy a stove, a refrigerator, a washing machine and a set of kitchen furniture. Some have spent even more.

Parent: "He has been taking tutoring for four years already. He started in the 5th grade".

The middle school graduates will find out on July 24 which high school they will attend starting in September. Some have already decided on the career field they want to pursue.
