Anti-drug verifications among young people who go to festivals in Bucharest and Constanța. "Who is being prosecuted? You are!"
The great music festivals are starting in Bucharest and at the seaside, where hundreds of artists from Romania and abroad will attend, as well as over 100,000 fun-loving young people.
The police want to make sure that there will be no incidents, so a large number of forces have started their missions in the areas that get crowded first: The North Railway Station of the Capital or the train station near Henri Coandă Airport.

The checks and preventive actions continued in the North Railway Station in Bucharest, but also in trains or at Otopeni Airport. These are the first places where many young people will arrive when going to the festival. Tens of thousands of party goers will also arrive at the festival organized on the beach in Constanța.
The actions of the police are determined by the large number of people who are expected to come at both festivals. 120,000 people are expected to attend the three-day festival in the capital alone. That’s a daily average of 40,000 people.
"If you smell that someone is smoking, you have to leave!"
Chief Commissioner Ștefan Cristian Burtan, psychologist at the National Anti-drug Agency: "If you smell that someone is smoking, you have to leave! Because even if you do not smoke, you are passive smokers and when you are stopped in traffic by the police you will test positive. Another very important thing: do not take in the car, when driving, friends who you know have consumed or regularly consume! Sitting on the right seat, they can take the bag out of their pocket and throw it in the car behind them, and then who is going to be prosecuted? You, the drivers!".
The young people received information leaflets and talked to the police.
