"We are a group of friends of Sebastian Andrei Olariu from the town of Pantelimon, and we invite you on Sunday, August 27, at 20:00, to the Pantelimon Lake promenade, at the entrance to the town of Pantelimon, for a special event in memory of our friend, Sebi. We would like your help in promoting an anti-drug awareness campaign. With your help, we want our messages to be heard by everyone; we want to be among those who distribute anti-drug messages in Romania. This is a phenomenon that has exceeded the authorities, which is why our friend is no longer with us today. We want you to be with us and shout in unison 'Drugs are NOT my life'", reads the message posted on social media and embraced by Sebastian Olariu's friends and former colleagues from a dance club in Pantelimon.
They say they want "as many people as possible to know that not all young people do drugs" and aim to reach young people "who can easily fall into the trap of drugs and those who corrupt them".
The event announced on Sunday evening in Pantelimon will also be a tribute to the young man who died in the accident in 2 Mai, caused by Vlad Pascu, a 19-year-old driver who was under the influence of three psychoactive substances at the time of the incident.
