This is a preventive action involving police officers from public order, gendarmes or anti-drugs police. And those targeted are especially young people who will go to festivals organized either at the seaside or in Bucharest.
Around 120,000 people are expected to come to the festival in Bucharest, an average of 40,000 people daily.
Police are telling people about the forces that will be present. In fact, the number of those going through the North Railway Station and the Otopeni station is higher than usual. There are about 50,000 people every day, but now a peak can be reached.
What to keep in mind if you go to these festivals - do not accept, for example, drinks that have not been opened in front of you or prohibited substances, do not take in the car people you know are consuming prohibited substances, because, for example, if the police stop you and find such substances inside the car, you may also be held responsible. If you refuse alcohol or drug testing, your license will be taken and during the tests you will no longer have the right to drive. This is a new law, which was recently enacted.
