In Alba, hundreds of high school students from the city participated in a unique competition, to raise the alarm about drug use.

The participants created various videos, and a team even brought Superman to the rescue. At the end of the day, all the creations were awarded.

Hundreds of students have created such videos that draw attention to drug use, but also to bullying or violence.

One team used Superman to support the cause.

Cristian, student: "We tried to encourage children in high schools and middle schools to live a healthy life. The product was completed in about five days".

Alina Muntean, teacher at the Sports Program High School in Alba: "The idea of our superhero video came from everyone’s desire to have a saviour, basically, a safety net".

All students were awarded within the second edition of the project "Siguranța Copiilor ne Unește pe Toți" ("Children’s Safety Unites Us All"), organized by the Alba Police Department.

Ariana Gane, teacher at the Orthodox Theological Seminary: "It was a very good alternative to what is happening around us to understand what is more important and what is and what is not right to do".

The students also listened to the testimony of a former drug user.
