Signs that You Are Stressed
Each person faces different situations and difficulties that cause stress. The representatives of Gen Z are no exception, who from an early age learn to live in the modern hectic world.
Very often physical problems appear, which indicates experiencing stress.
Here are four signs that you are very stressed:
1. Chest pain
It is always best to see a doctor if you are experiencing chest pain, but it can often be a symptom of stress as well.
2. Hair loss
Stress causes cortisol levels to soar which inhibits other hormones in your body affecting your body's signal for hair growth. Stress can also cause trichotillomania, a condition that causes a person to have a strong urge to pull out their hair.
3. Digestion problems
The stomach is often the first part of the body to experience symptoms of stress. This is because the body slows down the gastrointestinal system when it is under stress. Digestion problems such as diarrhea and constipation can also be caused by high levels of stress.
4. Headache
Migraine is one of the most common symptoms because stress causes muscle tension. The pain can be localized both in the head and in the neck and shoulders.
At the same time, good nutrition is essential to prevent stress. The most useful when fighting over nervous tension are pears, kiwis, citrus fruits, peaches, grapes, red peppers, bananas, coriander, basil, celery, etc.
Exercise, even at home, also helps - practicing a breathing technique, stretching the muscles, massaging the fingers from the base to the tip, pressing the temples and massaging for a minute or two. It is also important to normalize sleep, to do sports, to lead a fulfilling sex life.
