Can the Change of Time Influence our Mood? And How to Tackle It?
Changing the time can sometimes affect our mood, as well. Many people, not just Gen Z, have a hard time turning the clock back or forward. Why does it happen though? Such a change of time affects our brain and especially the so-called body or internal clock. The change of time most often "disrupts" our sleep habits and our circadian rhythm, as well as our mood.
In such cases, we feel tired, sleepy, loss of interest in our daily activities, as well as other symptoms that we associate with depression, such as sadness, guilt or hopelessness. But how can we adjust our body and brain to the change of time?
One of the most important things is sleep. It is important to go to bed on time and avoid electronic devices before sleep. No phones in bed before sleep!
Another important factor – expenses outside. Get out and enjoy the sun as well as the fresh air. Movement and exercise are also an important part of tuning your body. Even in small portions, exercise will help you feel more cheerful and energetic. It doesn't matter how you keep fit, what matters is that you do it.
Now it is the time to mention the diet, which is also a pretty good way to avoid all the unpleasant feelings we have specified above. As it has already become clear, sleep is important, and excessive alcohol and caffeine seriously interfere with it. So do not overdo it.
If you follow all these steps, you will definitely sleep better and feel much better, even with the change of time.
