Alexandru Raul Todoran, olympian: "It's a good result and I'm satisfied with the medal. I believe we did our best. I hope to win the gold medal next year".
Luca Perju Verzotti, olympian: "It was more challenging than in previous years".
Over 350 young participants from 90 countries entered the competition. Romanian teachers expected good results, but always believe there's room for improvement.

Romania has a total of 127 medals, including 33 gold medals
Dan Pracsiu, coordinating teacher: "Our strategy is good, but with some minor improvements, we dream of achieving four gold medals".
Among the team's coordinators are former olympians who help the young champions in their development.
Tamio-Vesa Nakajima, coordinator: "You hope they are going to do well, but I wish I could go and solve the problems myself, but that's no longer possible".
Parents' support is also crucial, as they have experienced the excitement of each competition alongside their children.
Dragoș Perju, parent: "They are the few who proudly carry the flag on their shoulders and in their hearts".
With these results, Romania has managed to maintain its second-place position in the "all-time" ranking of the International Olympiad in Informatics. Our country can pride itself on a total of 127 medals, including 33 gold ones. First place is held by China.
