Enrollment period for universities has started. Some universities have launched new bachelor’s and master’s programs
High school graduates who have passed their Baccalaureate exam are rushing to enroll in university. Documents can be submitted online as well.
Some universities have introduced new bachelor’s and master’s programs. For example, programs in microelectronics and nanotechnologies, land surveying and land registry in English or nutrition.

At noon, Briana walked through the gate of the Bucharest University of Agronomy. She came from Giurgiu and wants to enroll in two faculties.
Briana: "I want to enroll in two programs: forestry and control and expertise".
Reporter: How did you choose these faculties?
Briana: "One of them was attended by my brother".
This year, there are 5,500 spots available at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, with some programs being particularly popular among future students.
Alexandra Cornea, Communication USAMV Bucharest: "Starting from agriculture, forestry or landscaping, students are very attracted to these new fields: gastronomic sciences, food product control, land surveying and land registry, and food biotechnology".
At the Bucharest University, there are over 10,000 spots available for both state-funded and fee-paying places. This year, two new master’s programs have been introduced: Sports Psychology and Organizational Behavior and Psychological Counseling.
Across the country, 7 universities have introduced new bachelor’s programs, including Microelectronics, Optoelectronics and Nanotechnologies, Nutrition and Dietetics, or Chinese language at the "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu. Programs such as economic engineering, applied computer science, history and international relations have been removed from the curriculum of some faculties.
At ASE (Bucharest University of Economic Studies), the entrance exam has been reintroduced this year. The university is also organizing entrance exams for the Faculty of Cybernetics and the Faculty of Law. Prospective students will take a math exam for the Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics, and exams in Romanian and economics for the Faculty of Law.
While many young people previously preferred computer science, they are now turning their attention more towards faculties with programs in business administration, marketing or psychology.
Graduate: "I would like to find out how I could access European funds".
Graduate: "I want to start a business based on products I create myself".
At many universities, applications are being accepted online.
