It is part of the "Premier Energy" group and is the third of its kind after those opened in the Czech Republic and recently in the Republic of Moldova, where several foundations have managed to help tens of thousands of children.
The "Premier Energy" Foundation supports children and young people up to 18 years old who have medical or social issues or need financial assistance to deepen their studies. This includes cases like Sofia's.
In just a few months, the girl learned to play the harp. However, her parents could not afford to buy her a harp. With the help of the association, they quickly raised 14,000 lei, the money needed for this instrument.
Sofia: "I needed my own harp and I didn't have much money to be able to buy one. I want to become great with the harp".
Each case must meet eligibility criteria. Those interested must submit an application through the foundation's online platform.
To ensure that the funds raised reach the children in need, one of the conditions for approving the request is a third-party guarantor, a social worker, doctor, teacher or any person, except first-degree relatives, who can confirm the authenticity of the case.
The Premier Energy Foundation is the third good deeds platform of the group it belongs to, following those in the Czech Republic and Moldova.
Jiri Kottas, President of the Board of Directors of the Premier Energy Foundation:"In the last 6 years, the foundation (in the Czech Republic) has helped approximately 50,000 children. In Moldova, they launched the platform six months ago and have helped approximately 4,000 children. There is no commission. All additional costs are covered by Premier Energy. If you donate 100 euros, I can guarantee that the entire amount goes to that cause".
All natural or legal persons are encouraged to contribute. The platform in Romania is already accessible to the general public.
