By Mistake: Galena the Cat Travelled Thousands of Miles with a Shipping Company
A cat from Utah has been found in a California Amazon warehouse after its owners accidentally sent it in a return shipping box.
The story that would excite any Gen Z is about Galena that went missing on April 10 leaving her owners baffled as to her whereabouts.

Her owner Carrie Clark told KSL TV that she received a text message on April 17 informing her that Galena's microchip had been scanned. Immediately after that, she received a call from a veterinarian in California.
"At first I did not believe her and thought it was a joke. I ran to tell my husband that Galena had been found, we were shocked to find out that she must have jumped into the huge box that we sent the previous Wednesday," said Clark.
"The box was a "try before you buy" and it was full of work shoes," said Clark.
Galena was locked inside for six days without food or water.
Mrs. Clark tolds KSL that she was able to speak with Brandi, an Amazon warehouse employee who found Galena. The Amazon employee told Clark over the phone that she took care of Galena before taking her to the vet the next day. After receiving the call, the couple booked a flight for the next day and were reunited with their pet.
"Although she had lost weight and was slightly dehydrated, her blood tests were completely normal and she was completely unharmed," said Mrs Clark.
The couple updated a Facebook post on the Utah County Lost and Found Pets group page and told Galena's "story of survival".
They wrote:"We are overwhelmed by all the kind words that have come through. It's a miracle!!!'" Mrs Clarke also told KSL that she would like to encourage all pet owners to microchip their animals, adding: "Check the Amazon boxes three times".
