Taco Hemingway: 'I couldn't get out of bed'
In an emotional confession recorded by a fan, Taco Hemingway opened up to the audience:
"I couldn't get out of bed. I slept for over twelve hours a day. I did something I'd never done before: confided in my loved ones. I never wanted to do that because I thought, 'Everyone has their own life; everyone has their own burdens.' I didn't want to add my struggles to anyone else’s, but it got so bad that I had to," confessed Taco.
The rapper emphasised the importance of sharing one's problems with those closest to them, especially during difficult times.
Taco Hemingway's plea to his fans
Taco Hemingway urged the assembled fans to never hide their problems from their loved ones, especially if they are struggling with depression:
"I want to urge all of you never to think you're alone with anything. Always tell your loved ones if you're dealing with depression. I'm begging you because it's truly exhausting if you keep it to yourself—you might think you don't want to burden anyone else. But the people around you care and want to know what's going on," the rapper implored.
His words, full of emotion and authenticity, were met with loud applause and support from the gathered audience.
When dealing with depression, it's best not to be alone
Taco Hemingway also shared his personal story, describing how his family and friends reacted to his confession of mental health issues. He emphasised the importance of having the support of those closest to him when battling depression and how it helped him through a difficult time:
"I'm begging you guys because I've kept it all to myself all my life. When I finally admitted I had depression, everyone around me took care of me. My parents, Iga, my sister, everybody, and my friends. Borek, Borucci wrote to me every day, asking how I was," the rapper recalled.
He stressed that talking about problems with loved ones is crucial and can make a significant difference. He experienced tremendous support from his family and friends, which allowed him to better cope with difficult times. At the end of his confession, Taco Hemingway once again appealed to his fans:
"Remember, don't ever be alone with this. I'm asking you, it's not worth it... It's not worth it, it's not worth it," Taco emphasised.
