"Fentanyl has made its way into Poland," warns rapper Yung Adisz, who has unfortunately already witnessed the tragic consequences of its use. The young artist feels compelled to address the topic because of his music and its impact on young people.

Fentanyl, an extremely potent opioid painkiller, has appeared on Polish streets, posing a significant threat to public health. Its low cost and high availability make it popular among both young people and older drug users. The consequences of its use can be tragic, Polish rapper Yung Adisz warns.

Yung Adisz has decided to speak openly about the growing problem of fentanyl, which he has unfortunately encountered firsthand. He stated, "I'm still in shock. I feel it's my responsibility to speak out on this subject through my music. It's nothing new that fentanyl has made its way into Poland, but it's the first time I've experienced seeing someone affected by it in broad daylight."

First tragic encounters with fentanyl

The rapper recounts a situation he witnessed: "A couple of days ago, I was walking down the street when I saw some young lad passing out all sweaty and puking. I thought he was under the influence of alcohol. I returned 20-30 minutes later, and an ambulance was already there. It turned out the man had overdosed on fentanyl and died." The tragic sight of a young boy dying from an overdose deeply affected Adisz and compelled him to act.

A few days later, Adisz witnessed a similar situation: "The same thing happened again. I went to the Ć»abka store to get water and saw another person just 200 metres from where the previous incident occurred. This time, it was an older guy. He wasn't responsive, mumbling, unable to open his eyes. He didn't seem like he was drunk." The rapper explained that he decided to act immediately this time. He stayed with the man, called an ambulance, and waited for the paramedics to arrive.

Yung Adisz appeals to his young fans

Yung Adisz doesn't limit himself to describing his experiences; he actively urges his fans and other young people to be cautious. According to him, dealers have started adding fentanyl to other narcotics in powder or crystal form.

"I've heard they've started mixing fentanyl in the drugs. It is f*cking horrible. I advise you guys to call an ambulance if you see a person like what I described," urges the rapper.

He also stresses the importance of carrying Narcan, a drug used to counteract opioid poisoning and to be vigilant throughout the country. "Watch out for yourself first and foremost. I know that probably a good number of my fans are dealing with drugs, so keep Narcan with you. Be careful in Praga, all over Warsaw, all over Poland."

Adisz also speaks openly about his battle with addiction. He now attends therapy and Narcotics Anonymous meetings every week. He has been trying to get clean for six months and dreams of the day when he will no longer feel drug cravings.
