Pretty, with Sense of Humour and Fashion Taste: We All Want to Be like Emma Chamberlain
22-year-old American Emma Chamberlain is a typical representative of Gen Z. She started her social media channel while suffering from depression at high school, but even after that, mental health remained her No.1 topic. It is also one of the things Gen Z really admire her for as 79% of 16-24-year-olds in the UK admit to experiencing anxiety.
Vlogging started out as a hobby for Chamberlain, but today she is a real celebrity with 12 million YouTube subscribers and 15.4 million Instagram followers. She is liked so much because of her unique style characterized by long monologues from her car, from her kitchen, from her bedroom or from the street. Content includes cooking videos, fashion entertainment, car vlogs, collaborations with other Youtubers and more. In them, she shows beauty products, gives advice on achieving a beautiful look, advertises clothes that distinguish her from the others. Her love for fashion brought her collaborations with top brands such as Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein and Cartier.

In December 2019, Emma launched her own online coffee company called Chamberlain Coffee. She even had a short break from YouTube to focus on her business and mental health. That same year, Time magazine included her in the list of the 25 most influential people on the Internet.
Six years in row, Chamberlain has a much-watched podcast, Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain where she discusses topics such as female friendship, alcohol and more. Her success is largely due to the fact that she manages to make listeners and viewers feel as if they were communicating with a close friend. She makes videos to it from her bed and talks about everything that comes to her mind at the time of filming.
Very little is known about Emma's personal life. Her only official relationship so far is with singer-songwriter Tucker Pillsbury in 2020-2023. She also loves music, especially playing the drums, but she describes herself as a terrible musician.
