SOCIAL NETWORKS
Every day Gen Z’ers encounter images and messages emphasizing body slimness and achieving the perfect physique. To counter these messages, it is important to find such messages that support acceptance of the body as it is.
Read body positive blogs and follow positive role models. It is aso a good idea for Gen Z to stop following social media sites that promote thin or ideal figures.
BUY CLOTHES THAT FIT YOU
Buy at least a few basic items that fit you now and make you feel comfortable. It is a mistake to stock up on clothes you think you might wear when you lose weight.
STOP WITH THE NEGATIVE AND JUDGEMENTAL COMMENTS
Engaging in the typical negative and judgmental comments or conversations focused on weight and appearance is detrimental to body image. Avoiding such judgments can improve body image.
