Thousands of people participated in the "Bucharest Pride" march. This marks the 19th edition of the event dedicated to the LGBT community.

A recent survey shows that Romanians have become more tolerant towards members of this community, with 70% believing that all families should be protected by law, including those formed by same-sex couples.

Thousands of people, dressed in rainbow colors, with accessories and flags in hand, took to the streets to voice their rights without fear of being judged.

Many participants also expressed a desire for the state to recognize civil partnerships between same-sex individuals, as is the case in other countries. For the second year in a row, Bucharest Pride highlighted the urgent need for legal recognition and protection of all families, as reflected in this year's slogan, "We are ready".

From young to old, activists and supporters alike aimed to convey a powerful message of acceptance and equality.

Furthermore, a recent study conducted by Cult Research, cited by ACCEPT Association, indicates that Romanians are more open towards the LGBT community and believe that all families should be protected.

After marching for over an hour, participants stopped at Izvor Park, where they enjoyed an outdoor party.

At the same time, there was also a "March for Normality" where participants showed their support for traditional families.
