Usually, younger generations are much more open to diversity and acceptance, which is a positive sign for our future. On the other hand, there were also negative reactions, which didn't surprise me too much.
The mentality of many Romanians is still influenced by deeply rooted traditions and prejudices. For some, the topic of sexual orientation remains taboo, and reactions of rejection or misunderstanding unfortunately still persist".
He will play the role of a gay man in a feature film coming out this autumn
Emil Rengle revealed that in September, a new feature film will be released where he plays the role of a gay man, this time on the big screen.
"I am very excited to announce that in September, I will appear in my first feature film where I play the role of a gay man, alongside wonderful actors like Maia Morgenstern. I know this role will once again spark discussions and controversies, but I also know these are extremely important. Discussions about diversity and acceptance help us open our minds and grow as a society", said Rengle.
Emil Rengle became widely known after winning the "Românii au talent" competition, in 2018. He impressed the entire country with his heels dancing.
