Will artificial intelligence take our jobs? Some professions are safe
The Vocational Training Centre in Estonia is running a campaign to reassure young people that their future is not threatened by AI.
The rapid development of artificial intelligence over the past few months is a hot topic not only in technology circles. Marketing experts, social media specialists, copywriters, translators, artists, influencers and even surgeons are interested in the use of AI. ChatGPT offers great possibilities even for an ordinary person,. It can help you write an application to an office or a legal letter, and these are just a few of the options it offers.

The technology is not yet perfect, but the programme is learning all the time. So should people fear that AI will make some professions cease to exist?
There is no clear answer to this question, but the visions of sudden unemployment among copywriters resembles a distant armageddon rather than the near future. The development of artificial intelligence (AI) will certainly make certain professions look different than they used to. However, it is better to take AI as an ally and use its potential to make one's job easier than to worry about being driven out of job. For the time being - artificial intelligence is a tool that can realistically help people with some duties. Obviously one needs to double-check it later.
Fear not young people. These professions will not disappear for sure
Pressure? Brought to bear an early age already. Not only do young people have to decide very quickly what exactly they want to do in the future, but they also worry that their chosen profession will cease to exist. That’s just peachy.
The Estonian Vocational Training Centre's campaign decided to calm the young people who are getting ready to choose a career path. The Priima agency has created an advertisement on professions that "are safe" - and will not be replaced by AI. The list includes chef, hairdresser and painter, among others.
