Ryanair CEO Michael O'Leary was hit in the face with pies by environmental activists while preparing to hold a press conference in Brussels on the 7th of September.
O'Leary, 42, was in the Belgian capital to launch a petition to protect flights in Europe after Ryanair pilots based in Brussels went on strike, according to dailymail.co.uk.

He was giving an interview when a woman approached him and hit him in the face with a pie. O'Leary lowered his head, and at that moment, another woman behind him hit him with a pie on the back of his head.
"Welcome to Belgium!" the activists said, and Ryanair's CEO responded: "Well done! I've never had such a warm welcome. Unfortunately, they were environmentalists, and it was artificial cream. I invite passengers to come to Ireland, where it's better".
Ryanair pilots in Belgium have announced a strike on the 14th and 15th of September, dates specially chosen to coincide with the company's shareholders' general meeting.
