In Iași, diversity was celebrated with a parade dedicated to the LGBT community. Over 1,000 young people chanted messages demanding rights for sexual minorities. Supporters of traditional family values were also present.
More than 1,500 young people gathered in the center of Iași to participate in the march dedicated to the LGBT community.

Woman: "We don't have many dedicated spaces, specifically queer clubs or cafes".
Cosmin Gradinariu, president of RiseOut Association: "We want the Romanian state to hear us. Families in Romania, including those formed by same-sex couples, need to be protected through legal means".
The event also attracted young people from abroad.
Girls: "Our parades are much larger, although there are many issues related to these communities in France as well. No place is truly safe".
From the sidelines, those supporting the traditional family chanted while holding icons in their hands.
Man: "I am an Orthodox Christian and I do not agree with these anti-Christian manifestations in the city of Saint Parascheva".
Woman: "My opinion is very negative because there are many children in the midst of this parade who shouldn't be there".
They did not interrupt the demonstration where young people were advocating for rights for sexual minorities.
Girl: "It saddens me that not many accept and realize that all these issues are actually rights that everyone deserves. To be loved in the same way".
Boy: "I take pictures with them because they are funny. I have no issue with them".
This year, Iași Pride held its fourth edition.
