"A guy must be rich". Twitter community attacks an activist
Julia Pankiewicz is a psychiatry resident and a coordinator for women's rights and fighting discrimination. She added a post on Twitter alluding to her views. Not everyone liked it however.
Love is a complicated thing for sure. When someone brings up the topic in conversation, it often leads to further discussion. Some people promote the view that "love is love." It doesn't matter what gender the partner is or what they look like. What is more important is the person's personality.

On the other hand, others believe that there are certain norms in relationships. According to them for instance, a curvy person cannot be in a relationship with a thin person, and a short man will never date a tall woman.
Julia Pankiewicz vs. Twitter users
On May 16, 2023, the activist Julia Pankiewicz added a new post on Twitter. She shared a photo from the post @studio_stoutpoep, which shows "normal, beautiful couples." In the graphic, we can see two heterosexual couples and one homosexual couple.
In the comments under the post, a discussion arose about the published illustration. Users claim that it is impossible for a tall, thin woman to be in a relationship with a shorter, fatter man. They also believe that it’s only possible if the partner is very rich.
The vast majority of Internet users disagree with what the photo shows. They accuse the activist of not understanding the concept of the norm and point out, that she herself certainly would not go out with an obese man.
