Over 30,000 young people have chosen Costinești for their Pentecost holiday, making it one of the most crowded resorts of the season.

Tourists have enjoyed the sun, hot sand and refreshing water. Some enjoyed starting a well-deserved vacation or a big holiday, while others fully savored these few days of rest.

On June 23, Costinești was the resort where there was no room to throw a pin on the beach. Thousands of people have fled the red heatwave alert in the south for breeze and waves.

Reporter: How does this mini-vacation feel just before the Baccalaureate?

Young woman: "Very well, very peaceful, fun, cool, I like it".

Young man: "We had a long weekend and came to have fun for two-three days".

Reporter: By the way, how are the prices for you, young people?

Young man: "Quite steep, if you ask me. Food - 200 lei for not much at lunch".

Reporter: How is your first vacation after finishing school?

Young woman: "It was a very tiring exam session and I really needed this vacation. It was the first year of college and the adjustment was tough".

This year, Costinești seems to have regained its emblem as a youth resort, as it was called during communism. It was chosen by 30,000 high school and college students for Pentecost.

Young man: "I went with my friend who was here last year and he told me there's a lot of young people, it's cool. Most people are our age".

Young man: "Here we are free, we can do almost anything. I'm very pleased with Costinești, we're really having fun. The beach is very crowded, we chose to go further where there's a wild beach, I wouldn't stay here because it's overcrowded".

In fact, the entire coastline was under siege this weekend. From the early hours,

tourists embarked on a tour of resorts. As expected, the road connecting Constanța to the southern areas was almost blocked. They even spent half an hour for one or two kilometers behind the wheel.

Reporter: Where do you want to go?

Driver: "To Eforie".

Reporter: It took you half an hour to drive a kilometer?

Driver: "Yes!".

According to travel agencies' estimates, in the first two days of the Pentecost holiday, over 100,000 tourists were at the seaside. More than half of them are young people aged between 20 and 30.
