Lewandowski's team has made a stand for LGBT+. It took a while
FC Barcelona is preparing for Barcelona Gay Pride 2023. The LGBTQ+ Progress Pride Flags have appeared not only on club’s social media but also on the famous stadium.
On 28 June, Barça's social media logos changed to graphics showing the club's logo against LGBTQ+ Progress Pride Flags. Robert Lewandowski's team caught on at the last minute to take part in global Pride Month.

FC Barcelona hang rainbow flags at Camp Nou
"The delay" may be due to the fact that the Gay Pride in Barcelona is taking place on 15 July and not in June which is usually associated with support of the LGBTQ+ community. The city has been preparing for it for some time and now rainbow flags have been hung at the Camp Nou stadium as well. We assume that they will hang there at least until the parade.
Spain is one of the most supportive countries when it comes to the acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community. Marriage equality has been in force in the country since 2005. Moreover, single-sex couples here have the same rights as different-sex couples when it comes to adopting children.
There are however some signs of discontent in the comments from Muslims who are celebrating the important Islamic holiday of Eid al-Adha today (28 June). Unfortunately, religious conservatives are probably the only individuals globally who want to restrict the rights of the non-heteronormative minority.
Both FC Barcelona and Spain as a whole have a huge fanbase in Poland. We hope that the team's strong support for the LGBTQ+ community will provoke some reflection in people who still try to create problems when it comes to their rights.
