Barbara Nowak's nightmare. Depravity conspires against Poland [OPINION]
At school, in front of the church, on the streets. Perhaps even in your fridge or in a packet of crisps. The depraved and the liars are everywhere. They have a goal of taking over Catholic Poland. Who can withstand them? Of course, the Małopolska voivodship chief education officer Barbara Nowak, who made a dramatic appeal to her compatriots.
Look out of the window. What do you see out there? Cars, trams, buses, blocks of flats, rubbish bins, a newsagent with old newspapers... If this is your answer, then you should know that the chief education officer for Małopolska, Barbara Nowak, is deeply disappointed in you. How can you show such ignorance at a time when Poland has been overrun by depraved people and liars?

Depravity, lies, violence, struggle, rape, hatred. These are the key words in a monologue by Mrs Nowak. The woman is promoting an initiative using these very words. Nowak invites you to the March for Life and Family in Krakow, which will march through the streets of the city on 25 June.
"Poland under the attack of depravity and liars"
As befits a Catholic, Nowak begins her statement by inciting against equality marches - demonstrations of a peaceful nature whose participants identify with the ideas of freedom, equality and respect for others:
"Do you like the promotion of murdering children euphemistically known as abortion? Are you not grossed out by the obscene parades marching through Polish cities and towns, the Pride Parades or rather Haughtiness Parades of people who boast of destroying families, depraving children, fighting the Catholic religion and even committing acts of vandalism, destroying our churches and disrupting masses?" asks Nowak. The woman is just warming here, it’s going to get much worse.
"Is it still Poland or a paradise for depraved people?"
Nowak presents a vision of Poland straight out of an atheistic dystopia, in which unnamed "they" conspire against Catholics, devising a plan to destroy the faith and demoralise children. If this monologue were transferred to a feature film script, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage would certainly find money to fund it.
"They shout slogans insulting rational people. They mock symbols of the Catholic faith and Catholics with impunity. They resort to physical violence against priests. They conduct a campaign of hatred against believers. They threaten that our children will be like them. That is their agenda. They openly flaunt their sexuality and destroy the health of children by distributing hormones that block their physical development. They are destroying the psyche by promoting sex change operations as a remedy for all the problems of adolescence," roars the Malopolska education officer.
"Depravity violates children's innocence"
The woman then goes on to say that she does not want to live in a Poland where every day "the innocence of children is raped" and "Catholics are spat on". Further on Nowak, with a smile on her face, encourages to participate in the March for Life and Family in Krakow. Is this the best anti-advertisement of any initiative? We don't know, although we can guess.
Finally, Nowak dedicates a few words to "liars and the perverted":
"It's time to tell the perverted, all the liars, the word "stop". Let us show that we love our children. We want our Homeland to be faithful to God. Only such a Poland has a chance to last and be free," says the Małopolska voivodship chief education officer.
Now rethink your behaviour and thread carefully, for liars and depravity lurk everywhere.
