If a store offers you underwear made from recycled waste, it might not sound like the best idea at first, especially if if you have heard about such a thing for the very first time in your life. But even if you ignore it, sooner or later you will start coming upon such eco-frindly products more and more.

Recycling in the fashion industry is a key in reducing waste that ends up in landfills, then in the oceans, in our food and all around us. Further, recycling contributes to the reduction of energy costs and much lower carbon emissions, which will slow down the global warming.

Plastic waste, in particular, is the great enemy of our planet, and Gen Z may prove to be the key to the race against global warming and climate issues, as well as the fight against plastic and the pending threat to marine life and ecosystems. How it can be done - step by step with small changes in our lifestyle and consumer habits when we make purchases, whether it is food, clothes or other accessories.

Plastic waste is not biodegradable and emits toxic gases when burned, so it is advisable to recycle it. For example, more and more companies pop up on the market that offer underwear made from recycled polyester and lycra, which is environmentally sustainable and environmentally friendly.
