The philosophy of "living green" is becoming more and more popular with Gen Z. That is great! Not only does it help the environment, but it can save time and money for each of you. How? Find it out in the following paragraphs.

Switch to energy-saving appliances

The examples are many - from light bulbs to refrigerators and air conditioners. Companies like "Energy Star" offer electrical appliances that can significantly reduce your electricity bills.

Buy organic/Shop from local businesses

It is important what food you eat! Not only for you and your body, but also for the environment. Support the organic stuff and buy from local farmers and producers who do their best to get rid of pesticides, toxins and harmful chemicals. Why not grow your own fruit and vegetables?

Invest in a reusable bottle

Plastic is a real plague for our planet. Instead of buying a new plastic water bottle every day, consider getting a personal reusable water bottle that you can use every day. This is how you may reduce pollution!

Replace the plastic

While we're on the subject, let's check this as well. Plastic bags, straws, papers, bottles and many more examples. All that is present in our daily life and harms the environment and the Earth. Take the initiative and take the plastic out of your life - be green and make a difference!

Turn off your electrical appliances

Electrical appliances and devices contribute to the bigger portion of the energy used at home, and this is affected by how many devices are on at any given time. When you leave your phone charger plugged in, even without charging your smartphone, it may seem harmless but it is actually still using electricity. This may affect your electricity bill.

Living green can pay off. Not only will you help your community grow and help the environment, you'll also save money.
