You are sitting on the beach, eating a waffle and at the same time finding out how to safely terminate your pregnancy. This is the scenario that will be possible thanks to the activists of the Abortion Dream Team, who are setting off on tour across Poland. With the help of the "Abortion Patrol" ("Aborcyjny Patrol") they will educate about safe abortion.

Want to learn about abortion? Now you will be able to do so while on holiday. The Abortion Dream Team, an organisation dedicated to educating and helping women to terminate unwanted pregnancies, is embarking on a tour of Poland.

Now you will be able to meet the activists on the Polish Coast. Why is it worth visiting the "Abortion Patrol" stop even though you wouldn’t like to terminate a pregnancy?

Abortion Dream Team on tour in Poland

In early July, a picture of a van appeared on the Abortion Dream Team's social media. The organisation's activists have announced that they will soon embark on a tour of Poland in this vehicle. On 6 July, a conference inaugurating the whole project will be held in Warsaw, and just a day later on 7 July, the "Abortion Patrol" will visit Gdynia.

The Abortion Dream Team will also appear in the following cities: Sopot, GdaƄsk, Krynica Morska, Sztutowo and Stegna. At their stop you will find, among other things, a stand with stickers, leaflets, T-shirts and various useful information on abortion.

As reported by "Wysokie Obcasy" magazine, the coastal tour guides includes: Justyna WydrzyƄska, Natalia Broniarczyk and Kinga JeliƄska. In an interview with the portal, they explain that the "Abortion Patrol" will appear at the seaside because a lot of tourists come there in the summer, so they have a chance to reach more people.

"In the summer tourists come here from very different places, so there's a better chance of reaching people from all over Poland," says Justyna WydrzyƄska.

The "Abortion Patrol" - what is it all about?

Apart from the fact that the happening is informative and thanks to it people will be able to find answers to all their abortion questions, the Abortion Dream Team has also prepared something special. During the "Abortion Patrol" tour, one will be able to meet activists and hear abortion stories from women who will be willing to share them.

The activists also want to show that the verdict in the Justyna WydrzyƄska's case (who was sentenced by Polish court for helping a woman terminate her pregnancy) did not make the Abortion Dream Team stop working or get scared of anything. The organisers intend to continue helping women and will be able to do so with the assistance of the Abortion Patrol.

Although they are aware that their tour of the Polish Coast may provoke opposition or controversy, they stress that they will not leave any woman behind. They do not intend to discuss people's opinions. With the help of the "Abortion Patrol", they just want to provide Polish women with reliable knowledge about safe abortion. They also plan to travel to other places in the country later on.

"By doing so, we are sending out a signal that we are not intimidated by the whole affair. If anyone thought that the verdict would shut our mouths and that we would shut up afterwards, they were wrong. We have supported, we still support and we will continue to support and help people get abortions," says the activist
