Poland has achieved a significant milestone by securing the top spot in the 2024 National Cyber Security Index. This accomplishment highlights Poland's exceptional level of cyber security and the efficacy of measures taken to ensure it.

Poland has achieved the top rank in the National Cyber Security Index (NCSI), surpassing countries like Australia and Estonia. The NCSI is a comprehensive tool that evaluates and compares countries' cyber security levels based on various indicators.

Its commitment to preventing cyber threats and readiness to manage cyber incidents, cybercrime, and high-intensity crises is commendable and highly important.

The NCSI index evaluates countries' cyber security levels based on several factors. Poland received a perfect score in seven categories:

  • Cyber threat analysis and awareness raising,
  • Protection of personal data,
  • Cyber incident response,
  • And fight against cybercrime.

The Polish Army Cyber Defence Component Command (Polish: Dowództwo Komponentu Wojsk Obrony Cyberprzestrzeni, DKWOC) announced this significant achievement, emphasising cybersecurity professionals' hard work and professionalism.
